A Really Loud Homecoming
For its first five years, the Boss Hoss National Rally struggled to find a perfect home. Somerset, Pa., its first location, was tucked too far in the Northeast for a national event. And Lake of the Ozarks, Mo., where it stopped for two years, was not ideal motorcycle country.

C’mon in, the Water’s Fine
So far, things are going swimmingly in Dyersburg’s efforts to build an indoor aquatic center. The $7 million facility is proposed to be built adjacent to Dyersburg State Community College, but first a number of factors must be addressed.

Remember the Trojans
The Dyersburg High School football team put together a powerful 2005 season, going 10-0 during the regular campaign. The Trojans, coached by James Counce, who was named a Tennessee Titan Coach of the Week following a 28-12 victory at Obion County, averaged 30 points per contest while giving up a total of only 12 per game on average.
